Woo hoo! Good news my fine straight haired lady friends, you too are able to get that sexy day-at-the-beach wave that you’ve always longed for!
Texture is in! And why should you be left out of this trend if you have fine straight hair?
You want to achieve that perfect beach wave? I say go for it! Fake it ’til you make it! First you need to start off with the right haircut! Having more layers around the face and longer layers in the back will help you achieve perfect waves effortlessly!
Now let’s get started follow my 5 simple steps
Step 1: Shampoo and Condition
Shampooing your hair will get rid of oil and impurities that only weigh your hair down, using the right product is crucial! What I recommend is Pureology’s Pure Volume Shampoo and Condition, this helps to thicken hair with flexible volumizers. Squeeze a small pea sized amount of pure volume shampoo in the palm of your hands and emulsify until you see bubbles, shampoo your hair and rinse, then use a pea sized amount of conditioner from mid length to ends leaving out the regrowth area. Rinse and towel dry.
Step 2: Add more volume and hold
Apply golf ball sized amount of Pureology Silk Bodifier volumizing mousse to damp hair to give it a medium hold and add fullness leaving hair soft and shiny.
Step 3: Add texture

Unlike most “texturizers” this product is a salt-free spray that creates lightweight, day-at-the-beach texture with radiant shine and actually strengthens your hair while protecting your color! Mist throughout hair and tousle.
Step 4: Blowdry and section
Tousle dry hair upside down use a blow dryer on high heat low speed. The higher the speed the straighter your hair will be.
Once completely dry separate hair into 5-7 equal sections. Wrap your hair around a curling iron leaving the regrowth and ends out. Unwrap the hair and cup the curl with your hand and use the blow dryer on cool low speed to cool it off. This will set the curl. Then break the curls by running your fingers through your hair.
Step 5: Spray
Finish the look with Pureology Strengthening Control Hairspray shake it out and check, check, check it out!
