Established in 2005 as West St. Louis County’s premium full service salon, Studio 703, serves beauty and confidence to the community.  In our safe and welcoming environments, our salons offer full range of hair color treatments, performance haircuts, and glowing makeup. 

Our dedicated, award winning and highly educated team, is loyal and strives to give every guest the family and comfortable experience at every visit.

Company History

Shawn graduated from cosmetology school in the late 1990s wanting the most out of his career, he knew there was more than school had given him. Working and training with Bob Pitts, Shawn fine-tuned his own style and skills, and then he quickly built his own clientele. The two men opened Studio 703 to provide a fun, trendy and lucrative environment for others to work in. Studio 703 opened in April 1 of 2005.  Starting with Bob and Shawn in suite 3 and one short year later expanding into suite 2!

Although Dee and Shawn knew each other from school, she met Bob and Shawn at a Pureology training in late 2005 as she was becoming a Pureartist and educator.

Dee joined the Studio 703 team in April 2006, and quickly became manager and treated Studio as her own. January of 2011 the three opened the second location on Manchester at 141. With time and progression comes change, Bob retired in October 2012 and moved to Florida. 

Dee and Shawn became equal partners and have had goals of superior education with a family atmosphere. Dee was inducted into the US/Canada chapter of Intercoiffure making us one of the top 1% of salons in the world. 

Adding strength with amazing leadership from within the company, Natalie, and Emily were asked to help in this challenging task. As Natalie and Emily worked their ways to top stylists and managed their salons, they were also offered to become owners of Studio 703. 

Our unique culture is comfortable and trendy with a cutting-edge focus. We are all glad to have you as a part of our growing team.


Stylists :

-New school graduates will have the opportunity for in salon and hands on training before being a commission stylist. We do a 3-6 month program for training, real salon life, business flow and have you bringing in your own clients during this time.

-Salon offers latest technology for easy booking for all of your clients. We have a call center. Ever updated website and we have a free app for clients to make their own appointments, purchase product, and even gift cards.
